In Azerbaijan, the number of people infected with coronavirus (COVID-19) infection and those vaccinated during the last 1 week (July 31 – August 6) has been announced.
According to the information provided to “Report” by the Operative Headquarters under the Cabinet of Ministers, 15 new cases of infection were registered during that period.
17 people infected with COVID-19 have recovered. The number of deaths during the week was 3.
So far, a total of 832,036 people have been diagnosed with the disease, of which 821,731 have been treated and recovered, and there are currently 12 active patients. 10,293 people have died so far.
According to the information, 2,517 tests have been performed in connection with the identification of new cases of infection during the last week, and a total of 7,663,893 tests have been performed so far.
At the same time, 169 people were vaccinated in the country during the last week.
The total number of vaccines administered in Azerbaijan so far was 13,968,608.
