SYDNEY, May 29 - KPMG Australia's CEO and head of audit have resigned after an investigation into whistleblower complaints about data sharing fell short of standards.
CEO Andrew Yates, with the firm since 1990, stepped down after the probe failed to meet expectations. Audit managing partner Julian McPherson also resigned.
Yates stated: "It is clear that in this case we have let ourselves down and I take accountability."
