On June 17, Azerbaijan's Prosecutor General Kamran Aliyev met with OIC Deputy Secretary General Yousef Aldobeay.
They discussed preparations for the Third High-Level Meeting of Heads of Anti-Corruption Law Enforcement Agencies of OIC Member States, to be held in Baku on October 27-28, 2026.
On June 19, a bilateral meeting was held between the committee led by Deputy Prosecutor General Heydar Mammadov and the delegation led by Yousef Aldobeay.
The meeting covered Azerbaijan's institutional reforms in combating corruption, legislative improvements, and increased transparency.
Baku's hosting of this major event underscores the country's commitment to cooperation with the OIC.
Parties reviewed organizational, logistical, security, and protocol issues.
Yousef Aldobeay praised the high level of preparation in Baku.
He noted that over 300 foreign guests are expected.
At the end of the meeting, Heydar Mammadov and Yousef Aldobeay signed a cooperation document.
