The Central Bank of Azerbaijan has announced that the updated 100 manat banknote will enter circulation on July 15, 2025.
Chief Director Rashad Mammadov stated in an interview with Trend that the bank will inform the public via its official website and social media.
The last update was in December 2024 for the 50 manat banknote.
Mammadov noted that most counterfeiting attempts use primitive methods like color copying, but Azerbaijan's banknotes have high security features.
