A party attended by 150 people in Essen, Germany, ended in a mass brawl and stabbing.
According to Bild, on the night of July 5, around 150 people gathered at a rented house on Gerardet Street. At around 2 a.m. local time, three Turkish nationals and one German national went outside to settle a dispute.
The argument quickly escalated into a mass brawl. Preliminary reports indicate that a 46-year-old Turkish national started the fight and attempted to use a knife. He was also injured and taken to a hospital.
Police consider him a suspect for attempted murder. A 56-year-old security guard who was not involved in the conflict died of a heart attack during the incident.
