A small seaplane crash-landed in New York City, injuring two people.
According to NBC News, the incident occurred on the East River.
There were 10 people on board. At least two received medical assistance at the scene.
The U.S. Federal Aviation Administration reported that a Kodiak 100 seaplane made a hard landing on the East River in the afternoon, breaking one of its wing struts.
Rescuers evacuated at least eight people. Two others were treated for minor injuries.
No serious injuries were reported.
The seaplane remained on the water and was later towed to shore.
