The Black Sea Trade and Development Bank (BSTDB) has financed projects worth nearly 500 million euros in Azerbaijan.
Oxu.Az reports that Finance Minister Sahil Babayev stated this to journalists after the 28th annual meeting of the Bank's Board of Governors.
He noted that Azerbaijan has been cooperating with the institution since 1994: "During this period, the bank has financed various projects in Azerbaijan with a total value of about 500 million euros. Among these projects, financial support provided to small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) through local banks is one of the most important areas. Also, in the coming period, it is planned to further expand our cooperation with the Bank. The Bank also plans to finance SMEs."
