Cosan reported Q1 2026 earnings with revenue of $7.69 billion, beating forecasts of $7.08 billion by 8.62%. However, EPS came in at $0.0076, far below the $0.2692 forecast, a 97.18% negative surprise.
The stock fell 5.79% to $3.42, further declining in premarket to $3.4. The company reported a net loss of BRL 1.6 billion, an improvement from BRL 1.8 billion in Q1 2025, due to non-cash charges related to bond prepayments.
