A 6.0 magnitude earthquake struck the Gulf of California off the coast of Mexico.
The European-Mediterranean Seismological Centre (EMSC) reported that the epicenter was located 108 km southeast of Los Mochis, a city with a population of 256,000.
The quake occurred at a depth of 10 km. No casualties or damage have been reported.
