Russian court fines Armenian-origin blogger Arsen Markaryan for inciting hatred. He compared Russians to animals in a Telegram video.

A court in Moscow fined blogger Arsen Markaryan for inciting hatred and enmity. The Khoroshevsky District Court found that Markaryan posted a video on Telegram comparing Russians to animals.

He was fined 20,000 rubles (about 442 manats). Markaryan is currently serving a 4.5-year prison sentence for rehabilitating Nazism and is banned from administering websites for four years.
