President Vladimir Putin said on Friday it was too early to determine if a drone that crashed into an apartment block in Romania was Russian, suggesting it could be Ukrainian.
NATO accused Moscow of recklessness and vowed to defend allied territory after Romania reported a Russian drone struck during an attack on Ukraine.
Putin noted that Ukrainian drones were previously seen in Finland, Poland, and the Baltics, and criticized EU Commission chief Ursula von der Leyen for alleging Russia crossed a line.
