Conroy Gold and Natural Resources plc (AIM:CGNR) announced results from two drill holes at its Clontibret gold deposit.
Holes CGC-25-002 and CGC-25-003, totaling 566.7 meters, tested the northern strike extension of central gold lodes near the historic Tullybuck antimony mine.
Both holes intersected an alteration zone interpreted as Buddingtonite alteration. Hyperspectral core scanning identified a Buddingtonite spectral response at 2116nm.
Hole CGC-25-002 reached 351.1 meters and intersected 17 gold-bearing zones. Notable intervals include 1.0m at 16.7 g/t Au, 3.5m at 4.8 g/t Au, and 2.1m at 4.2 g/t Au.
Hole CGC-25-003, ~50m north, reached 215.6m before terminating due to technical difficulties. It intersected six gold-bearing zones.
The Clontibret deposit has a JORC (2012) resource of 517,000 oz gold at 2.0 g/t.
