LISBON - Changan Automobile announced a partnership with the Portuguese Football Federation, becoming the Official Global Partner of the Portugal National Football Team.

The ceremony took place at Cidade do Futebol in Lisbon. It included the unveiling of a brand collaboration film, the handover of a DEEPAL S05 Plug-In Hybrid vehicle to FPF leadership, and the launch of a 1,000km European test drive program.

"In football, staying 'in the game' means total commitment — to every tackle, every second of concentration, and every precise pass," said Mi Mengdong, Vice President of Changan Automobile. "For Changan, it means continuous investment, relentless innovation, and standing firmly with our users."

The test drive route spans from Lisbon to Madrid to Turin, testing the company's PHEV capabilities across various road and climate conditions.

The Portuguese Football Federation is Portugal's football governing body. The Portugal National Football Team has a global fanbase exceeding 500 million supporters.

Changan Automobile is headquartered in Chongqing and operates 14 manufacturing bases and 40 plants worldwide. The company trades on the Shenzhen Stock Exchange under ticker SZSE:000625, with a market capitalization of $11 billion. The stock currently trades at $1.24, near its 52-week low.

The partnership supports Changan's European expansion under its Vast Ocean Plan. The company's New Energy Vehicle lineup includes the CHANGAN NEVO Q05, CHANGAN DEEPAL models, and AVATR vehicles.
