Intel is returning to Formula One through a multi-year partnership with McLaren, becoming the team’s official compute partner.
The two companies plan to announce the deal on Thursday. Financial terms are not disclosed.
Under the partnership, Intel will deploy its Xeon and Intel Core Ultra processors to support McLaren Racing processes.
The agreement extends beyond Formula One, as Intel will also partner with the Arrow McLaren IndyCar team. Additionally, Intel will serve as an official gaming partner of the McLaren F1 Sim Racing esports team.
