The incident, identified on Thursday, involved a tank containing methyl methacrylate. Employees took immediate action and notified emergency services.
The Orange County Fire Authority issued mandatory evacuation orders for parts of the community on Friday as a precaution.
By Sunday, the evacuation area was significantly reduced. No injuries, leaks, or contamination occurred. GKN Aerospace is working with customers on recovery plans.
