Resolute Mining Limited (ASX/LSE:RSG) announced Wednesday it is retracting a scoping study for its ABC Project in Côte d’Ivoire that was released on May 13, 2026.
The company withdrew the announcement after consultation with the Australian Securities Exchange (ASX).
The production targets and financial forecasts in the scoping study relied entirely on inferred resources. ASX advised Resolute Mining that it did not have a reasonable basis for the forward-looking statements due to this reliance.
The company requested a voluntary trading halt to work with ASX on resolving the disclosure requirements.
Resolute Mining stated that investors should not rely on the retracted announcement for investment decisions.
The announcement was authorized by Chris Eger, managing director and CEO of Resolute Mining.
