MONACO - Safe Bulkers, Inc. (NYSE:SB) announced that the Hellenic Capital Market Commission approved its prospectus for listing common stock on the Main Market of Euronext Athens. The $678 million drybulk shipping company has delivered a 93% return over the past year.
The approval covers all 101,826,580 shares of common stock. Euronext Athens confirmed on May 26, 2026 that Safe Bulkers met all dual listing requirements.
No additional shares are being issued. Trading on Euronext Athens is expected to start on June 2, 2026 under the ticker SB with ISIN MHY7388L1039.
Safe Bulkers' primary NYSE listing remains unchanged. The board approved the admission to Euronext Athens on April 1, 2026.
Bond.az data shows the company maintains a GOOD financial health score and offers a 2.91% dividend yield. Common stock trades on NYSE as SB, preferred series C and D as SB.PR.C and SB.PR.D.
In other news, Safe Bulkers agreed to sell two vessels for $27.7 million and acquire four Japanese newbuild dry bulk vessels for delivery in 2029.
