Bond.az - Sampo Oyj repurchased 1,911,568 of its own A-shares during week 21, from May 18 to May 22.
The insurance group purchased the shares at a volume-weighted average price of €9.21 across four trading venues. The largest volume of 1,083,772 shares was executed on Nasdaq Helsinki.
Daily purchase volumes ranged from 249,004 shares to 499,989 shares. Weighted average prices per day varied between €9.06 and €9.27.
Following these transactions, Sampo holds 4,546,983 of its own A-shares, representing 0.17% of total shares.
The buyback program, which began on May 7, operates under authorization from the annual general meeting on April 22. The program is up to €350 million.
