HELSINKI - Sampo Oyj repurchased 1,730,961 of its own A-shares during week 20, from May 11 to May 15, according to a press release.
The insurance group purchased shares across four trading venues at a volume-weighted average price of €8.92 per share. The largest volume of 951,997 shares was acquired on Nasdaq Helsinki.
Daily trading volumes ranged from 373,918 shares on Friday to 462,824 on Monday. No purchases were made on Wednesday, May 13.
Following these transactions, Sampo holds 2,635,415 of its own A-shares, representing 0.1% of the company’s total shares.
The buyback program was announced on May 6, 2026, with a maximum value of €350 million.
