LONDON - SSP Group plc (LSE:SSPG), a global travel food and beverage operator, announced the appointment of Candace McGraw as an independent non-executive director effective June 1, according to a press release.
McGraw will join the company's audit and nomination committees. She brings over 30 years of experience in the aviation sector, including 15 years as CEO of Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport.
McGraw previously chaired the World Governing Board of Airports Council International until December 2025. She also served on the US Department of Transportation's Women in Aviation Advisory Board and NextGen Advisory Committee.
Currently, McGraw serves as a non-executive director of Toronto-listed Flagship Communities REIT and as an advisory member of Fifth Third Bank in the Cincinnati region. She also holds board positions with the Kentucky Community and Technical College System and the Kentucky Cabinet for Economic Development.
"She brings extensive leadership experience from the global aviation sector, alongside first class operational, strategic, and governance expertise," said Carolyn Bradley, interim chair of SSP.
SSP directors are subject to annual re-election by shareholders. McGraw's appointment will be presented as a separate resolution at the company's 2027 annual general meeting.
The company confirmed no additional information under UK Listing Rule 6.4.8R beyond the announcement.
