Vancouver-based Taseko Mines Limited (TSX:TKO; NYSE American:TGB; LSE:TKO) has filed meeting materials for its Annual General Meeting scheduled for June 24, 2026.
The company is proposing to change its corporate name to Trekor Metals Limited, subject to shareholder approval. The name change reflects Taseko's expanded asset base in North America.
President and CEO Stuart McDonald said: "Over the last two decades, Taseko has been on a journey – steadily growing our business and unlocking value in our high-quality portfolio of development assets."
The meeting will be held at the Terminal City Club in Vancouver at 2:00 p.m. PT on June 24. Shareholders will vote on director elections, auditor appointment, the name change, and an advisory say-on-pay vote.
The board unanimously recommends voting in favor of all resolutions. The proxy deadline is June 22 at 2:00 p.m. PT. Shareholders of record as of May 5, 2026 are eligible to vote.
