U.S. apartment rents increased to $1,737 in May, up 0.2% from April, marking the sixth consecutive monthly gain.
Annual rent growth remained at 0.7%, unchanged from April. All five U.S. regions posted monthly increases, led by the Northeast and Pacific at 0.3%.
San Jose led metro areas with 1.2% monthly growth, while San Francisco posted the strongest annual gain at 8.4%.
