SINGAPORE - Valeura Energy Inc. (TSX:VLE, OTCQX:VLERF) announced voting results from its annual general and special meeting of shareholders held on Wednesday.
Shareholders approved the appointment of Deloitte & Touche LLP (Singapore) as the Corporation’s auditors. The meeting also approved the allocation of unallocated options under the stock option plan and the allocation of unallocated performance share units and restricted share units under the performance and restricted share unit plan.
Eight directors were elected to the board. Dr. W. Sean Guest received 97.58% of votes cast, Dr. Timothy R. Marchant received 94.30% support.
Joseph A. Tomkiewicz received 97.57%, Russell J. Hiscock 91.11%, and Timothy N. Chapman 97.58%. Lina Lee and Anna Green each received 96.96% of votes.
Chalermchai Mahagitsiri received the lowest support among elected directors with 73.97% of votes.
