Bond.az - Bridgestone reported first-quarter revenue of ¥1,113 billion, exceeding consensus estimates by 3%. Adjusted EBIT came in at ¥122 billion, beating expectations by 12%.

The revenue beat was driven by better-than-expected volumes of -1.5% and improved mix. The company gained market share in North America despite challenging conditions.

Free cash flow of ¥139 billion surpassed estimates. Bridgestone maintained its full-year guidance.
