Bond.az -- DOWA reported fiscal year results on Thursday, with recurring profit of ¥54.3 billion for the year ended March 2026, above its guidance of ¥45 billion.
The beat was driven by higher metal prices, increased equity-method income from overseas zinc mines, and lower derivative valuation losses in Q4.
For the year ending March 2027, DOWA guided ¥80 billion in recurring profit, a 47% jump. The forecast assumes ¥155 per dollar.
The company expects support from elevated metal prices, normalized inventory and hedging, and higher mining contributions.
