Two of Wall Street's most closely watched billionaire stock pickers, Bill Ackman and Daniel Loeb, took opposite tacks this year.
Ackman bet on Microsoft and exited Alphabet, while Loeb did the opposite.
Ackman said his firm Pershing Square began building a new position in Microsoft in February.
Loeb's Third Point sold 925,000 Microsoft shares in the first quarter.
Both investors established new positions in Meta Platforms.
