The U.S. Treasury Department announced a $275 million settlement with India's Adani Enterprises over apparent violations of Iran sanctions.
Adani purchased liquefied petroleum gas from a Dubai-based trader that was falsely labeled as Omani or Iraqi but originated from Iran.
Separately, the SEC settled a civil lawsuit against billionaire Gautam Adani over bribery allegations, pending court approval.
The Justice Department is also close to dropping related criminal charges, sources said.
