Bond.az – Netherlands stocks closed higher on Friday, driven by gains in the Technology, Basic Materials, and Financials sectors. The AEX index rose 0.97% to a new all-time high at the close in Amsterdam.
Top performers: ASML Holding NV (AS:ASML) surged 4.74% to 1,409.00, ArcelorMittal SA (AS:MT) gained 4.11% to 56.78, and ASM International NV (AS:ASMI) added 4.02% to 900.80.
Worst performers: IMCD NV (AS:IMCD) dropped 3.16% to 91.22, Warehouses de Pauw Comm VA (EBR:WDPP) fell 2.05% to 22.02, and SBM Offshore NV (AS:SBMO) declined 1.42% to 34.82.
Advancers outpaced decliners 68 to 33 on the Amsterdam Stock Exchange, with 7 stocks unchanged.
ASML Holding NV and ASM International NV both hit record highs.
In commodities, crude oil rose to $97.13, Brent to $103.60, while gold fell to $4,520.25. EUR/USD was steady at 1.16, and EUR/GBP at 0.86.
