Colombia stocks were lower after the close on Friday, dragged down by losses in the Financials, Investment, and Public Services sectors.
The COLCAP index fell 0.98% at the close in Colombia.
Top performers included Interconnection Electric SA ESP (BVC:ISA), which rose 8.99% to 29,100.00; Grupo de Inversiones Suramericana SA Preferred (BVC:SIS_p), up 4.91% to 41,440.00; and Ecopetrol SA (BVC:ECO), which gained 3.92% to 2,520.00.
The worst performers were Organizacion Terpel SA (BVC:TPL), down 1.48% to 17,300.00; Grupo Nutresa SA (BVC:NCH), falling 0.66% to 300,000.00; and Cementos Argos SA (BVC:CCB), declining 0.35% to 11,260.00.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancers on the Colombia Stock Exchange.
US coffee for July delivery dropped 3.61% to $265.75. US cocoa for July fell 3.80% to $4,030.00. June gold futures declined 3.02% to $4,543.60 per troy ounce.
USD/COP rose 0.52% to 3,810.82, while BRL/COP fell 1.09% to 752.12. The US Dollar Index Futures were up 0.47% at 99.20.
