About 10 companies from Indonesia, South Korea, and Singapore have filed for Hong Kong listings this year, exchange executives say.
Johnson Chui, head of global issuer services at HKEX, noted the pipeline includes technology, consumer, and financial firms.
"We feel this is the start of a structural change," Chui said, as Hong Kong attracts international firms beyond China exposure.
Syngenta Group plans a $10 billion listing later this year. The Hong Kong exchange remains the world's top IPO market.
