British stocks clawed back earlier losses on Wednesday, edging into positive territory as Prime Minister Keir Starmer signed a landmark defense and security treaty with Poland, reports Bond.az.
The FTSE 100 was up 0.03%, reversing an earlier decline. Germany's DAX gained 0.30% and France's CAC 40 rose 1.04%.
The treaty covers border security, cybersecurity, organized crime and next-generation weapons development. Sterling held steady at $1.3448.
