Japan Airlines Co Ltd has signed a 10-year maintenance and overhaul deal with GE Aerospace for its Boeing 787 fleet.
GE Aerospace's facility in Brisbane, Australia, will provide repair and stock support services for Japan Airlines' Boeing 787 avionics systems.
Japan Airlines has a long-standing relationship with GE dating back to the 1970s and was among the first to select the GEnx engine.
In July 2024, the airline ordered GEnx-1B engines for up to 20 787-9 Dreamliner aircraft.
