Japan stocks higher at close; Nikkei 225 up 3.04%

Bond.az - Japan stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Real Estate, Banking and Textile sectors led shares higher.

At the close in Tokyo, the Nikkei 225 rose 3.04% to hit a new all-time high.

The best performers: Taiyo Yuden Co., Ltd. (TYO:6976) rose 16.51%, Fujikura Ltd. (TYO:5803) added 14.43%, and Kioxia Holdings Corp (TYO:285A) was up 14.02%.

The worst performers: Archion Corp (TYO:543A) fell 8.41%, Pan Pacific International Holdings Corp (TYO:7532) declined 4.88%, and Aeon Co., Ltd. (TYO:8267) was down 4.76%.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Tokyo Stock Exchange.
