Jardine Matheson has agreed to acquire Australian medical imaging provider I-MED Radiology Network for an enterprise value of A$3.4 billion ($2.4 billion), marking a major push into healthcare diagnostics.
The Hong Kong-based conglomerate will buy a 100% stake from Permira and other shareholders, funded through cash and debt.
I-MED operates 215 diagnostic imaging clinics in Australia and New Zealand, performing over 7 million procedures annually.
The deal, including I-MED's minority stake in Harrison.ai, is expected to close in 2026 after regulatory approvals.
