Electric vehicle maker Lucid is recalling 2,039 vehicles in the U.S. due to a loss of drive power that increases crash risk.
The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) announced the recall on Friday.
The issue stems from a faulty inverter that may cause power loss. The recall affects 2024-2025 Lucid Air models.
Lucid will release a software update and replace the inverter free of charge.
