Bond.az reports: Meta Platforms has offered rival AI chatbots, including OpenAI, limited free access to its WhatsApp service in Europe, sources say.

The offer would start charging once a message limit is reached.

Meta submitted the proposal to EU antitrust regulators last week. The European Commission is considering interim measures to ensure competition.

Smaller rivals dismissed the offer as inadequate. The Interaction Company of California urged the Commission to proceed with interim measures.

Meta said rival chatbots can use WhatsApp's business API for free for a month.
