Meta, TikTok, Snap, and YouTube have agreed to pay $27 million to settle a Kentucky school district lawsuit alleging their platforms harmed student mental health.
Meta pays the largest share at $9 million, with TikTok and Snap each paying $8 million, and YouTube paying $2 million. No admission of wrongdoing.
The district sought over $60 million. Over 1,200 school districts have filed similar claims.
