Mexican stocks were lower at the close on Monday, as losses in Industrials, Consumer Goods & Services, and Consumer Staples sectors led shares lower. The S&P/BMV IPC fell 0.11%.
Top performers: Becle SA (CUERVO) rose 2.70% to 14.09, Grupo Aeroportuario Centro Norte (OMAB) added 2.33% to 227.49, and Grupo Aeroportuario del Pacifico (GAPB) gained 2.19% to 426.00.
Worst performers: America Movil (AMXB) fell 2.15% to 22.25, Regional (RA) declined 2.01% to 137.67, and Banco del Bajio (BBAJIOO) dropped 1.32% to 54.67.
Advancing stocks outnumbered declining ones 80 to 61 on the Mexico Stock Exchange, with 17 unchanged.
Gold futures rose 1.07% to $4,605.10, crude oil fell 6.51% to $90.31, and Brent crude dropped 6.55% to $93.65.
USD/MXN edged up 0.06% to 17.28, EUR/MXN gained 0.08% to 20.13. The US Dollar Index was down 0.27% at 98.92.
