Bond.az reports that Netherlands stocks closed lower on Friday, dragged down by losses in Basic Materials, Technology, and Real Estate sectors.
The AEX index at Amsterdam lost 1.09%.
Top performers: Magnum Ice Cream Nv (AS:MICCT) rose 8.67% to 14.14. Wolters Kluwer (AS:WLSNc) added 4.90% to 61.22. Universal Music Group NV (AS:UMG) gained 2.50% to 20.53.
Worst performers: ArcelorMittal SA (AS:MT) dropped 5.02% to 52.24. ASML Holding NV (AS:ASML) fell 4.42% to 1,306.60. ASM International NV (AS:ASMI) declined 4.07% to 863.20.
On the Amsterdam Stock Exchange, 65 stocks fell, 31 advanced, and 12 unchanged.
The AEX Volatility index remained unchanged at 21.09.
Crude oil (WTI) surged 4.47% to $105.69, Brent rose 3.73% to $109.66, while gold futures dropped 3.21% to $4,535.05.
EUR/USD edged up 0.39% to 1.16, EUR/GBP inched up 0.21% to 0.87. The US Dollar Index gained 0.48% to 99.20.
