Philip Morris International named insider Massimo Andolina as its chief financial officer, effective August 1, to succeed Emmanuel Babeau.
Babeau, CFO since May 2020, will stay until March 31, 2027, as strategic advisor to CEO Jacek Olczak.
The appointment comes as the company accelerates its shift to smoke-free products amid growing competition.
Andolina, who joined in 2008, most recently served as president of the Europe region.
Babeau oversaw the 2022 acquisition of Swedish Match and previously worked at Pernod Ricard and Schneider Electric.
