Bond.az reports that Citi analysts have introduced a new server CPU total addressable market model. The market is projected to expand to $132 billion by 2030, representing a 35% CAGR from $29.3 billion in 2025.
The model includes general purpose CPUs, AI head nodes, and agentic CPU applications. Agentic CPUs are expected to drive growth with a 185% CAGR, reaching $59.4 billion and 45% of the total market by 2030.
General purpose CPUs are forecast to grow at 20% CAGR to $50.9 billion, while AI head nodes are projected to grow at 21% CAGR to $21.1 billion. By 2030, Intel is expected to hold 47% market share, AMD 34%, and ARM and others 19%.
Citi raised its price target on Intel to $130 and on AMD to $460 based on updated CPU models.
