Bond.az – Spain stocks were higher after the close on Friday, as gains in the Consumer Services, Financial Services & Real Estate and Building & Construction sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Madrid, the IBEX 35 rose 0.06%.
The best performers on the IBEX 35 were ArcelorMittal SA (BME:MTS), up 3.89% to 56.66; SOLARIA ENERGIA Y MEDIO AMBIENTE (BME:SLRS), up 2.72% to 24.20; and Indra A (BME:IDR), up 2.25% to 52.68.
The worst performers were Puig Brands SA (BME:PUIGb), down 13.44% to 15.27; Repsol (BME:REP), down 2.75% to 22.26; and Cellnex Telecom SA (BME:CLNX), down 1.65% to 28.63.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Madrid Stock Exchange by 112 to 84, with 16 unchanged.
Gold futures fell 0.49% to $4,520.17 per ounce. Crude oil rose 0.81% to $97.13 per barrel, while Brent rose 0.98% to $103.59. EUR/USD was unchanged at 0.15%, EUR/GBP unchanged at 0.17%. The US Dollar Index rose 0.17%.
