Stellantis is set to announce a joint venture with Dongfeng to build at least one fully electric Voyah vehicle at its plant in Rennes, France, sources say.

The joint venture will be 51% owned by Stellantis. The deal could be announced as early as Wednesday.

Voyah is Dongfeng's luxury brand. Building in France helps avoid EU tariffs on Chinese EVs.

This move follows a trend of Chinese automakers using European factories to expand globally.
