By 08:18 ET, the S&P/TSX 60 index futures contract was up 3 points, or 0.2%.
On Tuesday, the TSX composite index fell 0.3% to 33,741.24, its lowest close since May 5, led by declines in metal mining and consumer discretionary shares.
