Bond.az reports that Intel shares slid 7.66% to $107.05, pressured by competitive data, foundry concerns, and chip sector retreat.

UBS research shows Intel's server CPU market share fell to 54.9%, while AMD gained to 27.4% and Arm to 17.7%.

Analyst Timothy Arcuri noted that Arm and AMD continue to gain share at Intel's expense.

Intel's foundry division reported a $2.3 billion operating loss in Q1 2026, and the Apple partnership may be narrower than hoped.

Macro pressures also weighed, as inflation data created uncertainty about interest rates.

Analysts maintain a Hold rating on INTC, with average price target implying significant downside risk.
