Atlas Engineered Products Ltd (AEP) reported a challenging Q1 2026, with earnings per share of -0.02 CAD, missing the forecast of -0.01 CAD. Revenue came in at 9.3 million CAD against an expected 13.05 million CAD, a 28.74% shortfall.
Despite the miss, the stock price remained unchanged at 0.67 CAD in pre-market trading. Adverse weather in Ontario and British Columbia, along with weak market conditions, contributed to the poor results.
The company posted a gross profit of 273,000 CAD and negative normalized EBITDA of 800,000 CAD. Looking ahead, AEP anticipates improved performance in the second half of 2026, supported by strong quoting activity and the upcoming launch of its robotic truss facility in Clinton, Ontario in early July 2026.
