Gujarat Narmada Valley Fertilizers & Chemicals Ltd (GNFC) reported robust Q4 FY2026 results, with net profit jumping 35% year-on-year to INR 797 crore. Revenue increased 11% quarter-on-quarter and 7% year-on-year.
The chemical segment, particularly TDI, drove profitability. The stock rose 5.17% to INR 519.1, nearing its 52-week high.
Management highlighted the resilience of chemical operations, with TDI at global benchmark capacity utilization. Technical grade urea production was doubled to meet national demand during logistical disruptions.
The company plans significant capex of INR 2,800 crore in FY2027 for expansion projects.
