EPS of 0.3418 USD missed the forecast of 0.5136 USD by 33.45%. Despite the EPS miss, shares surged 11.59% after earnings but later dropped 2.56% in premarket trading. The stock trades at a P/E of 14.37 and PEG of 0.59, indicating attractive valuation.
CEO Hidetake Takahashi emphasized strategic focus on portfolio optimization and risk management. The company targets net income of JPY 530 billion for FY 2027 and increased its buyback program to JPY 250 billion.
ORIX also announced a dividend per share of JPY 187.36 for FY 2027, with a payout ratio of 39%.
