Beldex has announced the launch of the BNS marketplace, a platform enabling users to buy, sell, and manage blockchain-based names within the Beldex ecosystem.
This launch marks the evolution of BNS names from a naming system to a dedicated marketplace. Users can now own and trade BNS names peer-to-peer.
Unlike centralized systems, BNS marketplace gives users full control. No third parties or intermediaries are needed.
Users can discover available BNS names, buy them, list them for sale, and transfer ownership. The goal is a simplified, user-friendly experience.
BNS names can be tagged to BChat IDs, BelNet IDs, and Beldex wallet addresses. Ownership is recorded on-chain for transparency.
According to Mok Kong Ming, COO of Beldex, the focus has been on making decentralized naming usable in daily life.
The BNS marketplace is a key step in the evolution of the Beldex ecosystem. Over time, blockchain-based domain names will play a bigger role in decentralized apps.
Afanddy Bin Hushni, Chairman of Beldex, noted that this launch is part of a long-term direction toward user ownership.
Beldex is a privacy-focused decentralized ecosystem including BChat, BelNet, Beldex Browser, and BNS.
