Poland's economy expanded by 3.4% year-on-year in the first quarter, according to flash estimates. This was achieved amid energy market pressures.
Quarterly growth came in at 0.5%, missing the Bloomberg consensus forecast of 0.7%. It slowed from 1.0% in the previous quarter.
The preliminary data suggests some impact from energy headwinds, but the economy maintained positive momentum.
More detailed GDP breakdowns will follow in subsequent releases.
